Denise Grondin is the Senior Director, Human Resources for Stikeman Elliott. As a member of the Business Services leadership team, Denise is accountable for recruitment and selection, performance management, compensation and benefits, payroll, HRIS, wellness, learning and development, employee engagement and employee relations for Business Services employees in the Toronto office. Partnering with senior management, she determines and formulates policies and leads the execution of business strategies to drive organizational development and effectiveness. She is also accountable for delivering new national compensation and benefits programs across all the Canadian offices.  Denise serves on the Business Continuity Committee, the Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan Committee and the Partnership Board Steering Committee on Wellness and Mental Health.

Professional Activities

Denise is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and World at Work. She was a board member with the Oakville Literacy Council and is an active mentor within the Halton human resources community.

Background

Prior to joining Stikeman Elliott, Denise was a Senior Consultant at Fairfax Financial and the Director, Human Resources at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). Denise was awarded the 2013 Human Resources Institute of Alberta Award of Excellence-Individual in recognition of her contribution and commitment to excellence in Human Resources for her work at AIMCo.
